Rogers Park is the northernmost community in the city of Chicago. It’s a 30 minute taxi ride from downtown, and I would imagine that most visitors to the city would never make it this far north. In a bizarre tail this past week Nauru has officially recognized Abkhazia as a country.
Abkhazia is a 8288 square kilometer breakaway region of the small country of Georgia in the Caucasus region. No, we’re not talking about the breakaway region of Georgia that was at the center of the Georgia-Russia conflict in August 2008 -  that’s South Ossetia. Confused yet?
